Headphones on, world off: Silent Disco among books
On Thursday, November 26, 2026, the city library in Salzstadel in Landshut will transform into an unusual dance floor. At the free Silent Disco from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, club culture, literature days, and dancing come together. All ages from 0 to 99 are welcome.
Three musical worlds, one extraordinary club experience
The special charm lies in the individual music mix: Visitors can switch between three channels with the press of a button using borrowed headphones. House and tech-house provide driving beats for all who love modern club sounds. Additionally, the biggest hits of the 1980s and popular songs from the 2000s are included.
Dance floor atmosphere on three levels
On three levels of the city library, a sophisticated lighting design creates ambiance. Among bookshelves, Salzstadel flair, and changing sound worlds, a dance floor emerges that feels constantly new. The crowd determines which channel is playing and makes the evening an interactive music and movement experience.
Non-alcoholic drinks for the whole family
When the beats unleash energy and dancing makes you thirsty, non-alcoholic cocktails and refreshing drinks are ready. The concept combines party atmosphere with an open, cross-generational evening as part of the 23rd Landshut Literature Days.
Free admission and no registration required
Admission is free. There are no tickets and no registration for the Silent Disco: Just come by, borrow headphones, and choose your own soundtrack for the evening. The event is aimed at everyone who wants to experience music, dance, drinks, and books in a special combination.
