When Landshut sings together: Christmas Singing at the Ice Stadium
On December 22, 2026, the Ice Stadium Landshut transforms into a festive sound space. At the fifth Christmas Singing event, visitors from Landshut and the surrounding area come together to sing well-known Advent and Christmas songs. Admission is free; donations support the organization of the evening.
A stadium becomes a sound space
Where ice hockey and sports usually dominate the atmosphere, an extraordinary concert experience is created just before Christmas. Many voices merge into a large musical sound image, accompanied by choirs from the region, brass sounds, and piano. The acoustics of the ice stadium give the Christmas songs a special breadth and make the audience's mood immediately palpable.
Advent program with a common voice
The diverse program unites familiar Advent and Christmas songs. Church music director Volker Gloßner compiles the musical selection and thereby shapes the orchestration of the evening. Over 3000 people attended previous editions of the Christmas Singing, making the event a fixed highlight in the Landshut Advent calendar.
Everyone is welcome to sing along
The Christmas Singing is aimed at families, experienced choir singers, passionate singers, and curious guests. Every voice counts: The open format combines church music, community, and festive stage performance into a multigenerational evening. The kiosk will provide the audience with hot drinks and snacks, managed by Diakonie Landshut e.V.
Entry and atmosphere on-site
Entry begins at 4:30 PM and is granted as long as seats are available. The musical start is planned for 6:00 PM. Those who arrive early will experience the special transformation from a sports stadium to a Christmas meeting place and quickly find their place in the shared sound in the festive live atmosphere.
Conclusion: The Christmas Singing at the Ice Stadium Landshut promises an atmospheric evening full of music, community, and Advent joy. Anyone who wants to experience Christmas not just by hearing but by using their own voice should celebrate this special concert experience live on December 22, 2026.
