Services, Communion, and Church Coffee
The most important search intent regarding the Redeemer Church is clear: Many people want to know when the services take place and what to expect there. According to the community, the Sunday service at the Redeemer Church begins on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. On the first Sunday of the month, Communion is celebrated, and on the third Sunday, the responsible parties invite everyone to church coffee in the community center afterward. This structure gives community life a reliable form that is easily understandable for both regular attendees and new visitors. It is particularly important that the community does not see the services as a rigid ritual, but as a weekly celebration of God's presence, where silence, singing, and community come together. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/gottesdienste))
The service landscape of the Redeemer Church is also significantly more diverse than just the classic Sunday service. The official page announces family services several times a year, as well as about four music services annually, which are supported by experienced soloists and instrumentalists, as well as choirs. The ecumenical character of the community also influences the service culture, as the Redeemer Church has maintained close contacts with neighboring Catholic communities for decades and regularly celebrates services together with the local community in Wörth. Therefore, those searching for the Redeemer Church Landshut are often looking for not just a building, but a service culture that combines continuity and variety. History, Architecture, and the Tower by Hans Döllgast
A central point of the Redeemer Church is its architecture. On the Day of Open Monuments, the building is explicitly described as built in 1962/63 by Hans Döllgast. Döllgast is a significant name in Bavarian architectural history, and the Redeemer Church in Landshut is presented as a church that bears his signature. The community itself points to the tower as a special feature, and the donation information highlights that it is the only Protestant church built by Döllgast. This gives the Redeemer Church a special status among the sacred buildings of the region. Those interested in photos will already find the key to the visual character of the place in this information: The church is not only a space for services but also a striking architectural accent in the neighborhood. ([tag-des-offenen-denkmals.de](https://www.tag-des-offenen-denkmals.de/denkmal/fa427320-c695-11ea-ab68-960000611c47))
Particularly defining is the church tower. The community describes it as an important monument, a time signal in the neighborhood, and a landmark of their church community. At the same time, the official donation page shows that the tower needs to be renovated due to weather influences and that the damages are not only superficial but affect the substance. A cost estimate of 520,000 euros for the tower renovation is mentioned there. On the Day of Open Monuments, church tours with tower climbing were planned, provided the construction site was completed in time. This shows that the tower is not just a decorative element but an identity-forming part of the building that has both religious and urban significance. Especially for keyword searches related to photos, history, or the tower, this is a strong unique selling point. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/verfugt-nochmal?utm_source=openai))
Community Life in the Community Center: Groups, Encounters, and Volunteering
Those looking for community life at the Redeemer Church Landshut will find a surprisingly dense offering of groups and encounter formats. The page for adults lists, among other things, Bible study, gymnastics for housewives, morning dance group, lunch table, afternoon meetings for seniors, the Tutzinger Circle, and several self-help groups. In addition, there are offerings such as AGUS for relatives after suicide and bereaved parents in the library of the community center. This variety shows that the community center is not just a space for meetings but a social meeting point where faith, conversation, movement, and mutual support are closely connected. For people looking for an open, everyday community life, this is an important signal. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/aktive-gemeinde/erwachsene))

Mentioned are participation in confirmation courses, church music, ecumenism, senior circles, church council, and the distribution of the community newsletter. Additionally, there are communal moments such as staff appreciation and summer festivals. This information makes it clear that the Redeemer Church is not an anonymous institution but a participatory community where many hands carry everyday life. Therefore, those searching for events, groups, or the community center of the Redeemer Church will encounter a culture of participation that shapes the place far beyond service times. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/aktive-gemeinde/mitarbeit))
Children, Youth, and Families
The Redeemer Church Landshut is also a relevant place for families. On the children and youth page, the Johanniter children's group is mentioned, which takes place on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the Redeemer Church, outside of school holidays. The leadership is provided by Pastor v. Campenhausen. This offering is complemented on the homepage with information about LEGO building days in 2026 and other family formats. Together with the regularly celebrated family services, a clear impression emerges: The community wants to not only consider children but actively involve them. This is a relevant factor for those searching for child-friendly church offerings in Landshut. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/kinder-und-jugend))
Festive occasions are also intentionally designed as a community. An example is the Christmas Eve celebration at the Redeemer Church, to which people from Landshut and the surrounding area are invited if they do not want to spend the evening alone. The evening begins with a service and church choir, followed by the celebration in the community center with shared meals, singing, and encounters. Participation is free of charge, donations are welcome, and even last-minute attendees can join. In connection with the donation information for children and youth work, it becomes clear that the community wants to strengthen this area in the long term. Therefore, those searching for family offerings, children's groups, or communal festivals will find a surprisingly warm and connecting profile at the Redeemer Church. ([christuskirche-landshut.de](https://www.christuskirche-landshut.de/heiligabend-gemeinsam-feiern-der-erloeserkirche))
Ecumenism, Church Music, and Special Celebrations
The Redeemer Church Landshut is strongly ecumenically oriented. On the ecumenism page, the community describes a lively and diverse coexistence with the Roman Catholic neighboring communities of St. Peter & Paul and St. Vincent in Auloh, as well as with parishes in the district. Joint activities such as the Ecumenical Women's Circle, Ecumenical Bible Week, World Day of Prayer for Women, Procession for Creation, and mutual invitations to parish festivals are mentioned. It is also reported that Protestant services have been celebrated twice a month in the Catholic parish church in Wörth for years. This makes it clear that the Redeemer Church stands not only for Protestant identity but for church cooperation in the region. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/aktive-gemeinde/oekumene?utm_source=openai))
The community is also musically well-equipped. The church music page mentions the church choir of the Redeemer and Pauluskirche, the choral community Wörth/Auloh, and the brass choir. Particularly important for search queries regarding programs, music, or events is the information that about four music services take place in the Redeemer Church each year, musically organized by organist Ilse Maria Reich. The donation information also points to the Walcker organ from 1964, which needs renovation. Together, these details create a clear picture: The Redeemer Church is a place where liturgy, choral music, and instrumental music are closely intertwined. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/aktive-gemeinde/kirchenmusik))
Directions, Address, Parish Office, and Practical Information
For practical orientation, it is important to distinguish between the church, parish office, and community center. The Redeemer Church itself is located according to the community at Schützenstr. 57 in 84028 Landshut. The parish office and community center of the Redeemer Church are located at Konrad-Adenauer-Str. 14 in 84028 Landshut. The Deanery of Landshut confirms this information and additionally states the office hours of the parish office: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Therefore, anyone planning to register, inquire, or visit has a reliable address and clear opening hours. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/unser-gemeindegebiet/erloeserkirche-landshut))
Regarding parking, the information on the official pages is more reserved. The city of Landshut provides parking information for the community center and generally refers to municipal mobility and schedule offerings. However, the found pages of the community do not specifically indicate a dedicated parking lot for the church. For visitors, this means: It is best to use the location Schützenstraße 57 and the community center at Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 14 as fixed anchor points and check the current municipal parking information before arriving. Those wishing to photograph the Redeemer Church or attend an event can benefit from this careful preparation without relying on assumptions. ([landshut.de](https://landshut.de/node/6255))
Photos, Impressions, and Why the Redeemer Church Stands Out in the Cityscape
The Redeemer Church is particularly interesting for photo searches because it is present on several official pages with image material and visual descriptions. The homepage of the community works with photos from community life, and on the Day of Open Monuments, the church is presented as a monument with architectural handwriting. Additionally, there are references to the striking tower, which shapes the neighborhood and is described as a time signal in the Niedermayer neighborhood. All of this makes the Redeemer Church a motif that is relevant not only for believers but also for architecture and cityscape enthusiasts. Therefore, those searching for photos of Redeemer Church Landshut are often also looking for a place with a clear form language, recognizability, and a strong external impression. ([erloeserkirche-la.de](https://www.erloeserkirche-la.de/))
Moreover, the interplay of interior and exterior space is noteworthy.
A beautiful, very matter-of-fact Protestant church. A very engaging sermon on the topic of enlightenment, balance, and self-aggrandizement. It's good to see that the church isn't just preoccupied with useless, trendy topics like wokeness, rainbows, queerness, and the refugee industry.

We celebrated a baptism and, like the previous six times, it was absolutely wonderful. The church isn't overcrowded, the pastor did a fantastic job, and the music was lovely. Highly recommended!!!

A Protestant church, newly built in 1962. The church is located on the busy B299 Konrad Adenauer Straße and has a very simple interior, which, to be honest, I really liked. It's not a pompous Catholic church. It's a very beautiful church. Top
