Asterix and Obelix conquer the big screen in Landshut
On Sunday, November 29, 2026, families at KINOPOLIS Landshut will experience the KidsPreview of Asterix and the Kingdom of Nubia before its official cinema release. The Gallic heroes will embark at 2:00 PM on a child-friendly cinematic adventure full of humor, friendship, and exciting discoveries.
A Gallic adventure for little and big fans
While Asterix and Obelix are out in the forest hunting wild boar, an unusual potion mishap occurs in the Gallic village: a rare youth elixir transforms the otherwise invincible Gauls into harmless children. For the two heroes, an adventurous journey to the faraway Kingdom of Nubia begins, as only an antidote can save the village from the Romans.
Astonishment, laughter, and cheering together
The family event combines imaginative images, fast-paced situations, and the familiar characters from the Asterix world. Children will discover themes such as friendship, solidarity, courage, and collaborative problem-solving. The story offers an age-appropriate learning experience where curiosity and fun learning are naturally connected with children's laughter and shared time.
Age-appropriate and family-friendly
The film is rated by the FSK for ages 0 and up and has a duration of 88 minutes. Therefore, the KidsPreview is also suitable for younger cinema fans who want to enjoy their first big family experience on the big screen. The manageable film length supports a relaxed cinema experience for families and leaves room for astonishment, excitement, and humorous moments.
Cinema joy before the official film release
The KidsPreview gives families the opportunity to see Asterix and the Kingdom of Nubia before the official nationwide release on December 3, 2026. In the cinema hall, children and adults will experience the journey to Nubia with a large screen, strong sound, and the special sense of community that comes with a joint cinema visit.
Conclusion: Gallic humor, an imaginative rescue mission, and familiar heroes make this KidsPreview a unique family experience in Landshut. Secure your tickets now and accompany Asterix, Obelix, and Idefix on their adventure.
