A small nutcracker brings great laughter to children

On Thursday, November 12, 2026, Andy Kuhn invites families to the City Library Weilerstraße in Landshut. In the interactive reading The Story of the Way Too Small Nutcracker, children from four years old will experience an imaginative story with music, movement, and shared creativity.

Read, drum, and discover together

The nutcracker factory comes to life right in the audience. With drums, rattles, clapping, and stomping, the children become part of the action themselves. This event combines reading with percussion, movement, and playful learning fun.

A story about strength and uniqueness

At the center is a nutcracker that is far too small, who takes on an important task despite external expectations. The child-friendly story conveys age-appropriate messages that size does not determine a person's worth. Diversity, individuality, and self-confidence hold a special place in this narrative.

Creative family time in the City Library

After the reading, the children will create their own crafts related to the story. The shared music-making and crafting enhance the learning experience, promoting expression, imagination, and fine motor skills, while creating valuable shared time for children and their companions.

Family-friendly and educationally valuable

Andy Kuhn combines his work as a children's book author and musician with an engaging event concept. The interactive reading is appropriately aimed at children from four years old and fosters curiosity, a sense of community, and joy in books. The manageable duration from 3 PM to 5 PM offers families a well-planned afternoon.

The family experience at the City Library Weilerstraße connects children's literature, music, and creative crafting. Look forward to amazed faces, rhythmic children's laughter, and a story that encourages finding one's own special place in the community. Register now and bring the nutcracker factory to life.
