Spider Murphy Gang brings 50 years of Rock’n’Roll to Landshut

The Spider Murphy Gang celebrates its 50th stage anniversary on April 3, 2027, at the Sparkassen-Arena Landshut. Under the motto I can't take off my Rock'n Roll shoes, the Munich cult band transforms the hall into an electric Rock’n’Roll club.

Boogie piano, driving guitars, and Bavarian joie de vivre

When Günther Sigl, Barny Murphy, and their companions strike the first chords, precise synchronization meets immediate joy of playing. Rolling boogie piano, striking guitars, and a powerful sound form the foundation for a stage performance that has connected generations for decades.

The big hits of an extraordinary band history

With songs like Summer in the City, Schickeria, and Scandal in the Prohibited District, the Spider Murphy Gang wrote German rock history. The album Dolce Vita and the breakthrough of Scandal in the Prohibited District made the band known beyond Bavaria in the early 1980s. Later followed international tours, gold and platinum awards, and performances in large halls.

Anniversary concert with electric energy

The official tour announcement describes the Landshut date as a 50-year anniversary concert with electric Rock’n’Roll. In the Sparkassen-Arena, clear arrangements, the experienced conducting of the band members, and the characteristic presence of Günther Sigl meet an expectant audience mood.

Live atmosphere with cult factor

The concert experience lives not only from the well-known refrains. Between the songs, amusing anecdotes and the verbal ping-pong of the band create closeness and humor. Once the first notes of Scandal in the Prohibited District sound, the audience becomes a large choir – with tapping feet, glowing faces, and Rock’n’Roll in their blood.

Conclusion: Landshut dances with the Spider Murphy Gang

This anniversary concert connects five decades of band history with the unrestrained energy of a real live band. Those who know the Spider Murphy Gang not only from record collections and radio will experience their special mix of rock, boogie, humor, and Bavarian lifestyle most intensely live at the Sparkassen-Arena.
