Luz Amoi brings the Pentecost wind to life

With More than a Warm Summer Breeze, the ensemble Luz Amoi completes its grand musical trilogy in May 2027. On May 9, the St. Pius Church in Landshut transforms into an atmospheric concert venue for a modern Pentecost program full of sound colors, stories, and moving moments.

An Evening Between Tradition and New Beginnings

Stefan Pellmaier, together with his ensemble, opens a new chapter. After the Christmas program in 2026 and the tour before Easter 2027, the artistic journey reaches its peak at Pentecost. Over more than two hours, a musical quest unfolds that understands Pentecost not as a finished answer, but as a space for hope, trust, new beginnings, and solidarity.

New Voices, Surprising Sound Colors

For the Pentecost program, Luz Amoi significantly expands its lineup. In addition to the enlarged, internationally composed ensemble, a small choir of young singers stands on stage. Unique voices, multilayered orchestration, and finely tuned synchronization add extra dynamics to the stage performance.

The music connects Bavarian roots with modern influences. Songs in various languages meet soft, intimate passages and lively moments. Dulzimer, harp, violin, bass, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, vocals, and percussion create a multifaceted sound that fluctuates between world music, folk music, and contemporary concert dramaturgy.

Personal Stories in the Light of Music

The focus is on personal experiences from the ensemble. Touching stories gain additional depth through poetic metaphors and a large video projection. The imagery enhances the live atmosphere, while the acoustics of the church provide space for the voices and instruments. This creates a concert experience that does not aim for a dogma but for immediate feeling.

Luz Amoi: Bavarian World Music with a Unique Signature

Stefan Pellmaier founded Luz Amoi in 2005. The ensemble combines Bavarian tradition with different musical styles and stands for surprising arrangements, numerous instruments, and a spirited stage performance. Luz Amoi has received, among other honors, the Young Talent Award from the Hanns Seidel Foundation and is a regular fixture in the programming of Bavarian Radio.

A Hopeful Final Chord

In the end, there is a feeling of lived togetherness, joy, and optimism. Visitors can expect an evening concert with impressive lighting ambiance, moving voices, modern orchestration, and an audience atmosphere that lingers long after the last note. Those who want to experience Luz Amoi live should not miss this special Pentecost concert in Landshut.
