Crom celebrates 30 years of Epic Metal with the Back to North Release Concert
On February 13, 2027, the Alte Kaserne in Landshut transforms into a venue for epic heavy metal: Crom celebrates its 30th anniversary with an exclusive live show presenting their new album Back to North. Together with Kerrigan and Liquid Steel, the audience can expect a triple metal evening filled with powerful sound, classic guitar harmonies, and special live moments.
Epic Soundscapes from Landshut
Crom was founded in 1997 in Landshut initially as a solo project by Walter Crom Grosse. The band combines epic power metal with heavy metal tradition, clear vocals, and large atmospheric arrangements. Releases like Vengeance, Of Love & Death, When Northmen Die, and The Era of Darkness shape their distinctive sound, blending Nordic mythology, dramatic orchestration, and driving rhythms.
The concert focuses on an intense stage performance: striking guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and a sound that merges the power of classic metal anthems with the expansiveness of epic compositions. The presentation of Back to North makes the evening a special chapter in the band's history.
Kerrigan and Liquid Steel as Strong Support
Kerrigan from Freiburg is on the lineup, a band dedicated to old-school heavy metal. Their debut album Bloodmoon from 2023 brought the group performances with international metal acts and an award as Newcomer of the Year 2023 by the magazine Deaf Forever. The current album Wayfarer underscores the band's classic yet powerful approach.
Liquid Steel from Innsbruck complements the lineup with classic metal vocals, twin-guitar harmonies, and an energetic live presence. The Austrian band has already shared the stage with acts like Diamond Head, Blaze Bayley, U.D.O., Raven, and Powerwolf. This creates a concert evening that effectively combines various styles of traditional heavy metal.
Live Atmosphere with New Songs and Surprises
Fans can look forward to previously unplayed songs and additional live surprises. Between powerful riffs, synchronized drums, and anthemic melodies, a crowd atmosphere emerges that embodies the character of a true anniversary concert. The Alte Kaserne provides the perfect setting for this: direct, intense, and close to the stage.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the concert starting at 8:00 PM. The presale price is 19.70 euros. Discounted prices apply for students, those in federal volunteer service or social year as well as holders of a social pass. The companion of a person with severe disabilities marked with the B symbol receives free entry.
Conclusion: A Must-Attend for Heavy Metal Fans
Crom's 30th stage anniversary, the official presentation of Back to North, and two strong special guests make this evening a special metal event in Landshut. Anyone wanting to experience epic metal, classic heavy metal virtues, and an intense live atmosphere should not miss this concert.
