Mama’s Greens in Landshut: Concert at the Rochus Chapel Cancelled

CANCELLED: Mama’s Greens at the Rochus Chapel Landshut

The concert planned for Saturday, October 24, 2026, by Mama’s Greens at the Rochus Chapel Landshut is cancelled. An intimate evening of blues, folk, and original songs with Gabriel McCaslin on guitar and vocals, and João Luz on slide guitar and harmonica was intended.

Two Coasts, One Musical Path

Since 2023, Mama’s Greens has been blending American roots music with personal stories and a unique duo sound. McCaslin's fingerstyle guitar moves between ragtime charm and modern rhythms. João Luz showcases earthy blues harp phrases and warm tones of the slide guitar.

Blues, Folk, and Personal Stories

The musical journey of the duo leads from a coast near Santa Barbara to a coast near Lisbon. Between the songs, the two musicians were to share their life paths and demonstrate how closely American roots music, cultural encounters, and personal experiences are intertwined.

Historic Ambience of the Rochus Chapel

The approximately 500-year-old Gothic Rochus Chapel offers a unique setting for guitar music, harmonica, and focused stage performance with its special acoustics and almost intimate atmosphere. The concert was scheduled to begin at 20:00, with doors opening at 19:30.

Conclusion

The concert by Mama’s Greens as part of the Autumn Concerts Paths to One Another will not take place on October 24, 2026. The event is cancelled.
