Bavarian Folk Songs Meet Rock, Jazz, and Musical Cabaret

On Friday, April 16, 2027, the trio Brustmann-Schäfer-Horn will present their program Isara Rapidus at Salzstadel in Landshut. Josef Brustmann, Sebastian Horn, and Benni Schäfer combine Bavarian musical heritage with new songs, musical virtuosity, and pointed musical cabaret.

Three Characters, One Unusual Sound

Sebastian Horn, singer and lyricist of Dreiviertelblut and Bananafishbones, returns to Bavarian folk songs with this project, which have accompanied him since childhood. Josef Brustmann brings his experience from classical, folk music, and musical cabaret. Benni Schäfer, bassist of Dreiviertelblut and Brustmanns Lust, connects both musicians into an independent trio.

Zither, Guitar, and Bass with Surprising Depth

Not a traditional male three-part harmony, but a powerful three-man vocal performance: Zither, guitar, and bass create a soundscape between folk music, rock, jazz, and chamber music precision. The arrangements illuminate familiar melodies from unusual perspectives and give old songs new resonance.

Between Humor, Magic, and Abyss

Isara Rapidus takes Bavarian folk music seriously without detracting from its playfulness. Original songs meet traditional pieces, dry linguistic feeling meets musical synchronization, and fine observation meets an energetic stage performance. The program presents folk music not only as an entertaining tradition but also as a mysterious, magical, profound, and erotic sound world.

Live Atmosphere at Salzstadel

At Salzstadel, an immediate concert experience is created with clear acoustics, direct voices, and a lot of space for the dynamics of the ensemble. The audience's mood thrives on a shift between quiet, intimate passages, surprising musical turns, and pointed Bavarian humor.

Conclusion

Brustmann-Schäfer-Horn invite you to a special evening in Landshut, blending folk song, concert, cabaret, and musical exploration. Those who want to experience Bavarian music with edges, facets, and surprising depth should not miss this concert experience at Salzstadel.
