Events, Tickets, and Program 2025/2026: what's on, where to book, what to pay attention to
The program of the Sparkassen Arena is centrally maintained in the official event calendar and includes concerts, comedy and cabaret evenings, dance and show formats, trade fairs, and lively party series. A recurring crowd-puller is the over 30 series: The LA Party Night 30+ brought numerous guests together in the arena, liveBOX, and exhibition hall on October 11, 2025 – with several music areas ranging from party classics to disco fox and hits to rock and a house/techno area. The night flea markets are also firmly established in the calendar: On November 22, 2025, the popular night flea market opened from 5 to 9 PM in the arena and exhibition hall, entry was free, and the adjacent liveBOX took care of the culinary needs. Such formats demonstrate how flexible the venue can be utilized from late afternoon until deep into the evening. Further comedy and show dates are planned for 2026 and some have already been announced; for example, comedian Chris Tall is scheduled for May 30, 2026. In addition to tour productions, city events such as public viewings or regionally themed special exhibitions are possible. Ticket information for individual dates can be found directly in the event entry: there, start times, entry, seating categories, and any notes on seated or standing events are listed. Those who want to experience something 'today' spontaneously can use the calendar filter by date; this allows checking current events and remaining ticket contingents. For groups, it is advisable to read the notes on hall configuration, as seating blocks and standing areas vary depending on the stage position (head or cross orientation). Even for shows with numbered seats, the link leads to the download area with the floor plans – helpful for understanding one's seating location in advance. Tip: Book early, especially for comedy and popular tours, as the best categories are quickly sold out.
Seating plan, seats, and seating: 2,441 seats in row seating, clear sight thanks to column-free hall
The Sparkassen Arena is designed to provide every seat with as clear a view of the stage as possible – the architecture is free of supporting columns in the audience area. In standard row seating, 2,441 seats are available, which consist of the hall seating, the mobile grandstand, and the fixed seated gallery. The mobile grandstand adds 765 seats to the row seating; the gallery offers an additional 256 fixed seats with an elevated view. In standing formats, the hall can accommodate up to 3,500 guests. In addition to row seating, other setups are possible: parliamentary (up to 1,200 seats) for conferences as well as banquet/corner table seating (up to 1,800) when food and drink are integral parts of the event. The plans with dimensions, connection points, and divisions – floor plans for S-Arena, liveBOX, and exhibition hall – are available in the download area under the section Data & Facts. They help both organizers and visitors orient themselves, especially when a production is announced with stage position 'head stage' or 'cross stage'. Those looking for 'best seats' can orient themselves based on the planned stage orientation and their own preferences: The gallery allows for a calm overview due to its height, while the mobile grandstand moves close to the performance area and provides immediate proximity to the performance. For shows with free seating, timely arrival is recommended, while numbered events clearly assign the chosen area. For accessible seats and special needs, it is worth checking the event description or directly inquiring with the organizer; it is noted which areas are reserved and how early access is arranged. Overall, the combination of grandstand, gallery, and hall floor makes the arena precisely planable for various formats.
Access and parking: 1,000 parking spaces at Messepark, short distances and good public transport connections
The arena is located in Messepark Landshut, Niedermayerstraße 100, 84036 Landshut, and is easily accessible by car as well as public transport. A significant advantage is the parking spaces directly next to the hall: Around 1,000 parking spaces on the site ensure a relaxed arrival even for heavily attended productions. The access is clearly marked, and the paths from the parking areas to the entrances are short and barrier-free. Those arriving by bus and train benefit from the proximity to the city center and the train station; the bus connection is literally a stone's throw from the hall. For visitor groups, it is advisable to coordinate arrival and meeting points in advance, especially for formats with high attendance at the entrance. The Messepark itself is a spacious event area with open spaces and halls, ensuring sufficient space management during parallel events. The arena has two large access gates for delivery and logistics – a plus that positively impacts the setup times of touring productions and thus is also noticeable for visitors in a smooth process on-site. Those arriving by bicycle can reach the site from the old town in a short time; the surroundings are flat, and orientation is easy. For navigation devices, entering the mentioned address is sufficient; on-site, signs provide assistance. Note for concert days: For sold-out standing shows, an earlier arrival is recommended to reduce waiting times at entry, cloakroom, and catering. Visitors with mobility restrictions should use the designated parking spaces near the entrances; information on this is provided by the arena information on-site. With this infrastructure, the Sparkassen Arena offers a clear location advantage over inner-city venues: The combination of large capacity, proximity to parking, and uncomplicated pathways facilitates planning from ticket purchase to the journey home.
Capacity, technology, and equipment: 10 m hall height, mobile stage, electric hoists
Technically, the Sparkassen Arena is designed for versatile applications. The clear hall height is 10 meters – excellent for stage designs, light trusses, and media installations. Mobile stage elements on podium size allow for individual sizes and heights, depending on the show design. Electric hoists above the stage area provide touring productions with reliable rigging points; thus, sound, light, and video can be installed as securely as efficiently. The hall measures 73 x 40 meters externally, and the event area is 50 x 40 meters. A 130 square meter entrance foyer provides space at entry, while the foyer gallery with 140 square meters offers additional lounge space. Due to the column-free architecture, sound is distributed more evenly in the room; acoustic elements ensure intelligibility at conferences as well as pressure at rock and pop shows. Important for organizers: The location has a trade fair infrastructure with power, water, and sewage supply; the seamless connection to the exhibition hall opens up expansion options for exhibitions or technical storage. Delivering crews appreciate the two large access gates; vehicles and even heavy machinery can be brought into the hall and staged there. The mobile grandstand complements the flexible seating portfolio, while the fixed seated gallery provides additional elevated seats for a clear view. In total, an arena is created that scales cleanly from the 3,500 standing configuration to the 2,441 row seating and is suitable for parliamentary setups (up to 1,200) as well as banquet arrangements (up to 1,800). This facilitates hybrid events that offer conference character during the day and entertainment in the evening. Practical details – from signage and cloakrooms to sanitary areas and service points – round off the visitor guidance. Those looking to deepen their planning can find the floor plans with dimensions and connection points in the download area to align stage and hall plans precisely with the production.
Food, drinks, and service: Foyer offerings, rules for bringing items, cloakrooms
The Sparkassen Arena takes care of the culinary needs: In the foyer, drink and snack stands are available, which are adjusted according to the event. The offerings cover small hunger and common refreshments; for larger formats, additional distribution points are activated to reduce waiting times. In principle, bringing your own food and drinks into the event venues is prohibited. Exceptions exist for visitors who must bring food or drinks for health reasons; a medical certificate or corresponding identification must be presented. Cloakrooms are available in the foyer, and a fee is usually charged for each jacket deposited. Those arriving with bags should pay attention to the notes of the respective event – depending on the nature of the show, size restrictions may apply. The adjacent liveBOX, a separately usable building section for up to 250 visitors, has its own catering rooms and modern lighting and sound technology. This allows for additional areas for hospitality, VIP receptions, or after-show areas during larger events. The pathways between the arena, liveBOX, and exhibition hall are short, which favors mixed concepts: for example, a conference during the day with catering in the liveBOX and an evening conclusion in the arena. For family offerings, flea markets, and city events, the supply situation is scaled according to demand. Tip for concert evenings: Those wishing to avoid waiting times should use less frequented stands or orient themselves to signage that leads to additional counters. During breaks, the foyer gallery increases the lounge areas; there are often faster accesses to distribution points here. Overall, the gastronomic supply is pragmatic, close to visitor flow, and designed so that even with high attendance, continuous service remains possible.
Popular formats: over 30 parties, night flea markets, and city events
The Sparkassen Arena is home to some formats that have established themselves in Landshut and regularly ensure full halls. Particularly popular are the over 30 parties under the label LA Party Night 30+. The edition on October 11, 2025, utilized the entire area – arena, liveBOX, and exhibition hall – and offered several music areas in parallel: party classics from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, disco fox and hits, rock classics, and a house/techno area. Such multi-area concepts demonstrate the strength of the location when it comes to addressing different target groups simultaneously. The night flea markets are also well-known: On November 22, 2025, there was trading and bargaining in the arena and exhibition hall from 5 to 9 PM; entry was free, and the liveBOX took care of the culinary supply. This series is popular not only with bargain hunters but also with families and groups looking for a weather-independent evening activity. In addition, the arena invites seasonal or thematic events, such as public viewing for major sporting events, which can be scaled across the arena, liveBOX, and outdoor areas depending on the game phase. The range extends from local markets and exhibitions to tour productions of major artists and comedians. For fans, it is worth regularly checking the calendar, as individual dates sell out quickly. Those wishing to remain flexible will find new events throughout the year – from cabaret highlights to family entertainment to trade fairs and career information days. The clear structure of the halls and the quick accessibility contribute to the seamless arrangement of different formats.
Gallery, impressions, and program diversity: what pictures show and what the hall can do
A look at the impressions conveys how differently the Sparkassen Arena is utilized. Pictures from the seated configuration alternate with live concerts and exhibition or congress setups. Tour productions and shows from pop and entertainment can be seen – including formats like Africa! Africa! – as well as performances by renowned artists from the German-speaking pop scene. The fact that such productions make a stop in Landshut is due to the combination of capacity, room height, logistics, and acoustics. Without obstructive supports, lighting designers create clear lines, while sound distribution remains even – an advantage for concerts, but also for spoken events. The fixed seated gallery expands the audience capacity with elevated seats and offers calm sightlines; the mobile grandstand creates proximity to the action. Trade fairs and corporate presentations benefit from connections for power, water, and sewage, as well as the option to include the surrounding open spaces. Additionally, there is the possibility to connect to the exhibition hall or use the liveBOX as a standalone space for workshops, press rounds, or get-togethers. For visitors, the diversity is visible: from seated cabaret evenings to the standing atmosphere of a pop concert, from flea markets to job fairs – the arena adapts. Those preparing their event planning will find the necessary details for dimensions, stage variants, and the placement of FOH positions in the floor plans. In combination with the reliable parking situation, direct bus proximity, and easy orientation, a complete package emerges that can accommodate both large audience evenings and precise professional formats.
Practical tips for the visit: entry, services, and accessibility
To ensure a smooth visit, a quick look at the practical points is worthwhile: Entry opens depending on the event and production plan; the times are listed in the respective event description. In case of high attendance, an earlier arrival is recommended to reduce waiting times at security checks, cloakroom, and catering stands. The arena provides cloakrooms in the foyer; a small fee is usually charged per jacket. Snack and drink stands are available in the foyer, which can be expanded if necessary; bringing your own food and drinks is generally not permitted, but medical exceptions are possible. The pathways in the arena are clear, and signage supports quick orientation. Accessibility is a focus: access points are level or designed with minimal height differences, and the combination of grandstand and gallery allows for designated seats for guests with mobility restrictions. Details on accessible hearing or special services are provided by the respective organizer; depending on the production, different systems and contingents are available. Those arriving by car will find 1,000 parking spaces directly next door; during parallel formats in the Messepark, space management ensures an orderly process. Visitors traveling from the surrounding area benefit from the proximity to the federal highway and clear signage to Niedermayerstraße. For family events, it is worth considering the offerings of the liveBOX as an additional lounge area. Overall, the combination of infrastructure, service points, and clear hall structures makes the visit planable – from ticket booking to entry to the last applause.

Beautiful hall for concerts. We were here for a Stahlzeit concert and overall satisfied. The women's restrooms were clean, but there were no paper towels available after washing hands. Getting drinks at the bar was also a bit tedious. The line was long and at times it just took too long for me. Otherwise, it was a nice concert.

Mineral Day in Landshut. Definitely worth seeing! Either just to admire impressive minerals and fossils or as a collector if you're looking for something specific. Plus, the special exhibition is still worth a visit! The entrance fee is low for so much beauty.

We were at Martin Frank. Very large hall with seating. You can take seat cushions from large containers at the entrance. Plenty of stands and high tables to buy something to drink or a little snack before the event. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking in front of and beside the hall.

Great event location, easily accessible. The trip from Munich is worth it. Enjoyment without having to stand in line.

Great hall and well organized. Just a small point of criticism to mention. Cashless payment would have been better for drink sales. And much faster. But it was only cash. Otherwise, everything is okay.
