Menu and Culinary: Bavarian-Peruvian Cuisine at a Glance

The culinary signature of the Kastanienhof thrives on the connection between Bavarian pub culture and influences from Peru. The menu features down-to-earth classics and creative compositions that gently bring together the flavors of Latin America with regional ingredients. The kitchen works seasonally, meaning that dishes and individual components change according to the season. This keeps the menu varied, and the team can respond to freshness and availability. In addition to meat and fish, the menu explicitly considers vegetarian and vegan options, making planning for mixed groups easier. Guests hosting a celebration can coordinate menus that range from the aperitif outdoors to the midnight soup in the hall. Thematic evenings regularly take place, where Peruvian culinary art takes center stage and is served as a coordinated menu. The goal: a journey beyond the plate that still fits the place and engages the guests. Those who want to get an impression of the ambiance in advance can use the published images and the 360-degree tour. This digital insight shows the dining area, hotel areas, and the surroundings, allowing interested parties to get a coherent idea of the character of the rooms. For daily planning, the published opening hours are helpful: Typically, the gastronomy is open on Mondays as well as Thursdays and Fridays in the evening and continuously on weekends, while Tuesdays and Wednesdays are rest days. The village shop opens from Thursday to Saturday mornings until the afternoon and on Sunday mornings. Those with special dietary wishes or allergies can communicate these in advance; the team is prepared for individual arrangements and recommends specific alternatives from the menu if in doubt. The personal commitment and love for detail are palpable, whether it’s about a simple lunch dish in the beer garden or a multi-course menu in the evening. There are also suitable dishes available for children, allowing families to dine easily. This creates a cuisine that nurtures the familiar while also showing openness.

Prices and Offers for Celebrations and Events

Those planning a wedding, anniversary, or corporate event want early clarity on budget and services. Publicly accessible orientation values indicate a price range of about 90 to 150 euros per person for weddings and similar events. This guideline helps with rough calculations and typically includes a multi-course menu or buffet as well as drinks by arrangement; exact contents vary by season, duration, number of people, and desired extras. The team creates an individual offer upon request that reflects the course of the event as well as service, decoration wishes, technical requirements, and special services. Practically, the rooms can be flexibly furnished: The large hall accommodates up to 110 guests, making it comfortable for classic wedding parties, corporate banquets, or club celebrations. For smaller groups, the Stüberl Sala Verde with up to 30 seats is recommended. Both rooms can be designed festively or simply depending on the occasion, for example with round tables for the gala menu, with row seating for lectures, or with a casual table arrangement for communicative evenings. The outdoor area showcases its strengths during receptions, especially in the warmer months. Culinary offerings range from Bavarian classics, regional ingredients, and homemade specialties to Peruvian-inspired courses. Thematic evenings like the Peruvian Evening demonstrate how a coherent concept can be combined with modern cuisine. Important for organizers: The location just a few minutes from the A92 facilitates access, and parking is available on-site. Those needing hotel rooms in addition can reserve them in the house; the hotel is open all year round, allowing celebrations in the off-season to be combined with overnight stays. For the timing, it is advisable to coordinate delivery times of service providers, setup windows, and program points such as speeches, live music, or DJ sets. As the team at the Kastanienhof regularly accompanies celebrations, one benefits from clear processes and short communication paths.

Photos and 360-Degree Impressions: This is what it looks like at Kastanienhof

When selecting a location, one wants to see how the rooms work, how the light falls, and how large the stage for their own celebration actually is. The Kastanienhof provides image galleries and a 360-degree tour for this purpose. The virtual view shows the hall with variable seating, the Stüberl Sala Verde, hotel rooms, and outdoor areas. Interested parties can move through the rooms and derive where the reception, buffet, dance floor, or technology can be well placed. Images also convey the style of table decoration, materiality and color of the chairs, as well as the character of the walls and floors. Those desiring a specific look, such as classic white, natural wood, or colorfully accented, quickly recognize which decorations harmonize. Insights are also helpful for service providers: Photographers appreciate preliminary impressions of perspectives and light, while bands or DJs see where speakers can be sensibly placed and how power points are accessible. For couples who envision a first look in the shade of old trees, the outdoor area under the chestnuts is a natural place; for conferences or product presentations, the hall offers enough space to set up a stage, screen, or displays. In addition to the images on the website, the hosts regularly publish impressions on social media, allowing one to see current decoration trends and seasonal dishes. Those already working with service providers can use the images to convey wishes visually. This creates a shared understanding even before the viewing appointment. Tip for planning: Note the motifs that particularly appeal to you in photos and check on-site how they can be concretely implemented in your event. The 360-degree tour complements the classic viewing but does not replace it. The real atmosphere, the acoustics in the hall, the view from the window, and the interplay of light and time of day are best experienced live. Nevertheless, the digital impression is a valuable tool that creates decision-making security.

The hotel rooms on-site provide additional flexibility, such as for getting ready or for guests who do not wish to drive after the celebration. For the following day, breakfast or a joint brunch can be organized, creating a rounded weekend experience. Due to the location near the A92, larger groups from the surrounding area can also arrive quickly. The village shop and beer garden round out the picture and give celebrations in the warmer months a particularly relaxed touch. Those unsure about which combination of rooms, menu, and schedule fits can study the event pages of the house and arrange a tour with the team. The 360-degree tour also helps to understand seating variations in advance and to plan one’s own decoration accurately.

We were guests at the hotel and restaurant for 2 days. The mix of Lower Bavarian and Peruvian in the rooms and on the plate is unique. The hostess and all the staff are super professional, relaxed, authentic, and very friendly... and the Pisco sour is absolutely recommendable, just like the food in general, from breakfast to dinner. Overall, highly recommended.

Thank you for the wonderful two nights. The Kastanienhof is a lovingly decorated guesthouse. The team was very friendly and attentive to our well-being. Our room (the Quince) was great, with a balcony, and we lacked nothing. The small coffee and tea bar allows you to grab a coffee after getting up, which is fantastic as it makes getting up much easier. We didn't eat at the guesthouse, but friends did and were very satisfied. Thanks again to the entire team at Kastanienhof.

The rooms are modern, very clean, and still radiate traditional Bavarian charm. From the very first moment, you feel like part of the guesthouse family – a big shoutout for this extraordinary hospitality! We will gladly come back.

We spontaneously went there on Sunday evening because we were interested in the Peruvian food. In the vault, we got a cozy spot and were thrilled by the selection and quality. An absolute recommendation!
