ESKARA Essenbach | Events & Tickets 2026
The ESKARA Essenbach is the sports and cultural arena at the gates of Landshut and is one of the most versatile event venues in Lower Bavaria. The building, featuring characteristic wood-glass architecture, was designed as a flexible arena for conferences, culture, and sports, offering over 2,000 seats depending on the seating arrangement. Its location at Savigneux-Platz 4 in 84051 Essenbach is easily accessible, with a large number of parking spaces available directly at the venue. Thanks to barrier-free access, an elevator, and designated wheelchair spaces, the visit is comfortable. As of January 2026, the program ranges from cabaret, family shows, and concerts to the famous Ü30 parties. Throughout the year, external tour productions and local highlights complement the offerings. Those looking to experience concerts, shows, or parties in a pleasant atmosphere will find a vibrant backdrop and practical services from entry to the journey home.
Events, Program 2026 and “today” at ESKARA Essenbach
The program of the ESKARA is continuously updated and is bundled in a central event calendar. For the current season 2026, several formats have already been confirmed at the beginning of the year. As of January 2026, the calendar lists, among others, a concert by Christian Maier – premiere of “Schokoladenseit’n” on 10.01.2026 (in the concert hall of the music school opposite the arena), the ESKARA carnival party on 30.01.2026, and the 9th Great Eskara Children's Carnival on 01.02.2026. For fans of grand stage shows, “The Night of Musicals” follows on 14.03.2026 – a tour format presenting highlights from well-known musicals. In spring and summer, cabaret and comedy expand the spectrum; typical examples include regional formats like “Derbleckereien” (date: 15.03.2026) or solo programs by well-known artists in the arena or in the concert hall of the music school. Additionally, party specials, sports events, and family offers appear throughout the year, especially on weekends, ensuring a busy calendar. For a quick overview of “What’s happening today?”, it is recommended to check the ESKARA event calendar, where current start times and entry, possible age restrictions, and information on advance sales and box office are listed. Important service topics such as accessibility, directions, parking, and e-charging points are also directly linked. For those planning long-term, the calendar also already lists later highlights in 2026, such as major comedy tours and party dates. Tip: For highly demanded guest performances – especially before Christmas – tickets are often sold out early; it’s worth reserving in time.
Tickets for ESKARA: Online, Advance Sales, and Box Office
Tickets for events at ESKARA can be conveniently purchased online via the respective event page, where the authorized ticket vendor is linked. Here, seating plans and price categories are displayed if it is a seated event. Additionally, there are local advance sales points. The market Essenbach operates an advance sales point at Rathausplatz 3 (phone 08703-808-16) and provides information about available dates and ticket contingents. For selected formats – such as parties – an additional box office is available, the opening of which (e.g., from 18:00) is indicated for each event. For questions regarding orders or reserved tickets, the contact channels of ESKARA are available (central 08703-46585-11, email info@eskara.de). For highly sought-after tour productions, it is advisable to use waiting lists or replacement functions of the ticket providers. Seat purchases are generally exact; standing events are indicated as free seating. Wheelchair spaces are specially marked and can be booked directly in the common ticket shops; companion seats are offered according to the respective contingents of the organizer. Important: Use official advance sales channels – additional fees may apply on third-party platforms. For technically curated events such as musicals or comedy tours, the providers embed the seating plan in the booking process; for party formats, there are usually areas without seat binding. All detailed information such as entry times, youth protection regulations, cloakroom obligations, or bag regulations can be found for each event in the calendar.
Parking and Directions to ESKARA Essenbach
The ESKARA is conveniently located between Munich, Regensburg, Deggendorf, and Passau and is excellently connected via the A92 (exit Landshut-Essenbach) and the B15n. Coming from Munich, the A92 leads to the exit Landshut-Essenbach; then follow the B15 towards Essenbach and the signs “Eskara/Landratsamt” to the roundabout and the arena. Coming from Regensburg, leave the B15n at the exit Essenbach, follow the bending priority road, and turn at the next intersection; from there, the parking guidance is clearly signposted. Up to 800 free parking spaces are available for visitors – directly in front of the ESKARA and in the large visitor parking lot nearby. Disabled parking spaces are designated directly in front of the entrance, and the path to the foyer is barrier-free. New are three e-charging stations: two AC charging points with 22 kW each (simultaneous charging for two vehicles) and a fast charging station with two 50 kW charging points, ideal for a quick charging stop during the show. Those arriving by train can use the main train station Landshut (about 10 km away) and continue by bus or taxi. Visitors traveling from afar can reach ESKARA from Munich Airport (MUC) in about 30 minutes by car – especially a comfortable option for evening shows. Around major parties, ESKARA sometimes publishes information about special buses from regional providers (e.g., Neumeier) directly in the respective event announcement. For navigation devices, it is recommended to enter the exact address Savigneux-Platz 4, 84051 Essenbach; the visitor and music school entrance face each other, making orientation on site easier.
Seating Plan, Seats, and Capacity of the Arena
The ESKARA is designed for maximum flexibility. The centerpiece is the 1,285 m² large hall arena, which accommodates over 2,000 seats in row seating. Depending on the event, alternative setups are possible – from standing concerts to mixed variants to gala seating for corporate events, fairs, or sports. Opposite the arena is the concert hall of the music school Markt Essenbach, which with about 260 seats is particularly used for chamber music, readings, cabaret, or premiere evenings and scores with its very good acoustics. Therefore, there is no “single” static seating plan; the specific seating plan depends on the respective event and is displayed during the ticket purchase. This allows for precise selection of seats in the desired areas, including wheelchair and companion seats, which are separately indicated in the system. The routing for artists and technicians is also practical: delivery takes place via the rear loading ramp directly at the stage magazine, which is convenient for tour productions with nightliners and trucks. For the audience, the flexible architecture means that sightlines and acoustics are already considered in the planning – a feature that ESKARA refers to in its self-understanding as a “place for conferences, culture & sports.” Those who want to get an impression in advance can use the virtual tour of ESKARA; it shows the foyer, winter garden, arena, and conference rooms in various setups. For seating decisions: For musicals or large comedy tours, ticket shops offer a seating plan view with price categories; for parties or standing concerts, proximity to the stage is crucial, while for seated evenings, central rows often provide a good mix of overview and sound.
Ü30 Party at ESKARA: Dates, Areas, and Tips
The Ü30 party at ESKARA has cult status in the region: several music areas on multiple levels, a large dance floor in the main area, and live music in the winter garden provide variety. Depending on the edition, changing DJs perform – in the past, for example, DJ Soul, DJ Ballou, DJ Andy, DJ Tommy Serano, or guest DJs from the BAYERN 3 environment. There are also thematic zones such as Fox/Mix Area, Rock or Techno Area, covering everything from disco fox to club sound. A special trademark is the speed dating in the upper foyer, which has been a popular format for getting to know each other for years. As of 2026, the next Ü30 edition is scheduled for 28.02.2026; details about opening hours (partly with happy hour start), advance sales, and box office are available in the event information. Important: Entry is from 30 years. Those arriving by car will find plenty of free parking – those who do not want to miss a drink should check if special buses (e.g., from the bus company Neumeier) are offered for the date. The new e-charging points in front of the arena are practical for guests arriving electrically. For a relaxed evening, it is advisable to arrive on time, use the cloakroom service, and inform oneself in advance on the event page about bag or safety instructions. ESKARA's after-reports regularly show the high demand and full dance floors – an indication that the mix of musical variety, spatial feel, and service is right. Those wanting to secure tickets should subscribe to the announcements; some editions sell out quickly, while others additionally offer a box office.
Monika Gruber at ESKARA: Dates 2026 and Seat Selection
ESKARA is a popular stop for Bavarian cabaret stars – foremost Monika Gruber. For December 2026, several dates of her program “Es huift ja nix” are listed at ESKARA Essenbach. As of now, among others, 17.12.2026 and 18.12.2026 are listed in Essenbach; individual performances were already sold out in advance. Booking was done through authorized providers with exact seating plan view, allowing for good selection of desired seats in the front rows or middle blocks. From previous guest performances, it is known that the demand in Essenbach is very high; those looking for tickets should regularly check the official date channels or keep an eye on return contingents. For arrival, the usual recommendations apply: arrive at least 60-90 minutes before the show starts, park at the venue or visitor parking, use barrier-free access if necessary. Guests who prefer smaller rooms should pay attention to dates in the concert hall of the music school; however, the majority of Gruber shows are performed in the large arena due to demand. As a guideline for the best seats – depending on the setup – central rows with a slightly elevated perspective provide a good combination of view and speech intelligibility. Those who want to be on the safe side should take note of the seating plan recommendations in the ticket shop and check if wheelchair/companion seats are suitable for their situation. For sold-out performances, later additional dates or day contingents may still open up chances; the official communication of ESKARA and the tour organizers should always be checked.

Overall a good venue. I think having just one door open for entry is too little for a concert. The waiting felt like it dragged on forever, especially in freezing temperatures. The concert itself was great, the restrooms were clean, and the sound was pretty decent. The food and drink selection could be a bit more generous. I missed having coffee or a larger variety of snacks.

Super versatile venue! Whether it's the over-30 parties or other events - top-notch organization! Always happy to come back! Plenty of parking available!

My first over-30 party and it was really cool!! Great music, the different rooms and music themes are just awesome!

Large multipurpose hall. I was there for an over-30 party and that's definitely not the optimal use for the hall. The large area was way too bright, with a rudimentary lighting system, and the small sound system couldn't compete with all the people. Downstairs in the basement, the hallways were overcrowded since all guests had to go down to the restrooms, as well as to the cloakrooms and smaller areas. It was so cramped that nothing could move back and forth at times. You really don't want to think about what would happen if someone shouted 'fire' and everyone tried to get to the stairs. Conclusion: it was nice to be at a big event again, but the place... well...

It was our first time there and we were really overwhelmed by the crowds. The air in the rooms was absolutely terrible and we were basically just busy trying not to pass out. It was a shame that the hip-hop room was soooo small. Maybe they could switch up the levels and limit the number of visitors. We can't handle that again🧐
